This is a rather obvious comic, given all I’ve shared this week about my leaning toward creating some bigger work. But it’s applicable to most creative urges as well. For instance, at work today I finally laid out on paper an idea I’ve had bumping into my mind for a week or so. It was a little like blowing my nose, only less gross and more productive. I felt better with it out on the paper than existing as an idea in my head. Ray Bradbury talks about the act of writing when you have an idea as a way to keep it from becoming a poison if left too long in the mind. Perhaps there is something to that.

Happy weekend everyone.
